On June 11th from 11a.m. to 5p.m. the weather reached a high of 102 degrees in Denver, but that didn’t stop Colorado from coming together to support its local musicians and artists at Youth on Records Annual Block Party. Youth on Record is local non-profit organization in Colorado who are on a mission to empower the community's underserved youth by helping them achieve their academic, artistic, and personal best with musical training and education.
Tucked away in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Denver, over 40 vendors came out to showcase their artistic talents, network, and chow down while listening to live music performed by the Youth on Record crew. Vendors like Suja Organics and Liquid Death kept the crowds cool and hydrated, while The Ethiopian Food Truck and Las Cazuelas Mexican Grill cooked ethnic food for us all. It was an eventful day of smiles, meeting new people, and seeing the next generation be empowered to fulfill their dreams.
